Dear Batter · Privacy policy

Your privacy, plainly.

Your sweet idea starts on your device. Here’s what stays there, what you choose to share, and how to reach us about it.

01Who this policy covers

This policy describes privacy on dearbatter.com and inquiries you choose to send to Dear Batter, a Maryland home bakery. Questions or requests about your information can be directed to (786) 419-0809.

02Your inquiry stays with you

The inquiry form builds a message in your browser. Typing, selecting treats, and previewing a note do not submit your entries to our website server. The form does not save your entries in cookies or browser storage. Reloading or closing the page may clear them.

Optional fields let you include contact details, event information, flavors, dietary questions, designs, and a budget. Include only what we need to discuss your request. Do not include payment card details, identification documents, or private medical information.

03When you copy or send a note

“Copy message” places the note on your device’s clipboard. “Open Messages” passes the draft to your messaging app. Dear Batter receives the note only when you choose to send it. Your messaging app, device, carrier, or email provider may process the information under its own privacy terms; messaging charges may apply.

When you contact us, we receive the details you send and the contact information supplied by your messaging service. We use that correspondence to answer questions, discuss availability and ingredients, provide quotes, and arrange agreed orders and pickup. Sending an inquiry does not subscribe you to an automated marketing list.

04Website connections and storage

Our hosting and security providers process technical information needed to deliver and protect the website, such as your IP address, requested pages, browser information, and request time. Cloudflare provides network delivery and security; its handling of visitor connection data is described in Cloudflare’s privacy policy.

We do not add advertising pixels, analytics scripts, or embedded social feeds to this website. Security providers may use essential security cookies. The optional styling tool can save a display preference in local storage; it never stores inquiry details. Clearing this site’s browser storage removes that preference.

05Social links and other services

Our Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn icons are ordinary links. Their feeds and tracking scripts are not embedded here. If you follow a link or contact us through a social platform, that service’s terms and privacy policy apply to activity there.

06Records, sharing, and your choices

The website does not maintain a database of form entries or sell them. Messages you send can remain in our business correspondence and in the services used to communicate with you. We retain correspondence as needed to handle your inquiry, fulfill agreed orders, resolve issues, and meet applicable recordkeeping obligations. Service providers may retain their own technical records under their policies.

Access to information is limited to handling our business and the services that support it. Information may also need to be disclosed to comply with law or protect against misuse. We use reasonable safeguards, but no communication or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.

Contact (786) 419-0809 to ask about information you have sent, correct it, or request deletion. We may need to verify your identity. Some records may need to be retained for an active order or legal obligation. Requests concerning a messaging or social platform’s own records should also be directed to that provider.

07Photographs and younger visitors

Sending reference artwork or a photograph for an inquiry does not give us permission to publish it as customer content. Publication requires separate consent. This site is intended for adults arranging purchases; please do not send children’s personal information or unnecessary identifying details.

08Policy updates and contact

We may update this policy when the website or our practices change. The date above identifies the latest version. For privacy questions, call or text Dear Batter at (786) 419-0809. You can also read our terms of service.
